Someone you can laugh or cry with.
I’m not a family member or a friend. There is no history, attachment, or expectation. We share a human connection, person to person, through conversation and by enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
How it works
Initial Conversation
A phone call or e-mail for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether I will be a good fit as a companion for you, your family member or friend.
First Meeting
This personal visit allows us to get to know one and other; to ensure that we will be comfortable working together as companion and client.
Companionship Visits
These visits take place in person. We engage in activities such as talking over a cup of tea, sharing a walk, seeing a movie, or accompaniment to an appointment.
Phone Calls
If it suits you, phone conversations can be arranged at the same hourly rate as companionship visits.
Cost
The first meeting (1hr) and companionship visits (2hr min) are billed at $90/hr + hst plus pertinent expenses.
Confidentiality
I retain in confidence any details you share with me regarding your personal and/or professional life.

I’ve had the honour of being in hundreds of people’s homes. By helping people to get organized I’ve learned a lot about their lives, habits, patterns, struggles and successes - but the most important thing I’ve learned is that people have a very basic need to be listened to, and paid attention to.
